The Passport to Success Program

Prepare, PAC and step into success!

Passport to Success Program (PSP) is a personal trainer and ultimate resource that prepares students for academic fitness at University of Northwestern. PSP is designed to provide opportunities, tools, and encouragement to Northwestern students desiring long-term academic success.

What does success look like with PSP?

Passport to Success Program participants impact the UNW community through their commitment to academic excellence and active participation in activities. Students in PSP participate in a variety of areas such as mentorship, coaching, and other campus connections to achieve their academic goals. Students also have the option of taking the GST1025 course Impact of Culture in the United States.

PSP services include but are not limited to the following:

  • Course planning
  • Goal setting
  • Establishing relationships with advisors and professors
  • Academic accountability
  • Assistance to navigate campus resources
  • Enrollment assistance
  • Peer Academic Coaching (PAC)
  • Developing academic strategies: test-taking, time management, note taking, memory techniques, and organization
