Prior to teaching at Northwestern, Dr. Lemke was an Assistant Professor of Ministry Leadership at Crown College, taught English as a second language at Ball State University, and was also an Adjunct Instructor at Nyack College. He has done missionary work in Japan through The Christian and Missionary Alliance.

I am married to my beautiful wife, Heidi, who happens to be a Northwestern alum. We adopted our two girls, Mia and Selah, while living in Japan. Since returning to the States we have added two cats to the family, even though two of us would prefer to have a dog.

My hobbies include reading, watching movies, cooking, gardening and lawn work, travel, playing card games, and hanging out with my wife and girls.

Life Verse

“You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had.” (Philippians 2:5)

If the students leave here as whole people, who can relate in a healthy way to God, to other people around them, then they'll be able to make a huge impact in this world.
